Answers:    Rent a runner steam cleaner that has attachments and they usually hold cleaner for the carpet cleaner purely use it like you would if you be cleaning carpet. I might include make sure you suck out as much hose down as possible that the couch has a wet through touch. Make sure you have plenty of nouns stirring or even a fan on the couch. If the couch does not dry proper it will mildew.

It's quicker and easier to discharge a professional company to do it. I just have a couch and two oversized chairs with ottomans done for below $100 by Sears. Febreeze will just shroud the smell and may not go insightful enough into the fibers of the cloth and really kill the odor. Also, the machines the pros used compared to the ones you can rent and diy are more powerful. So if the couch have been within a smoky environment for a while, call the pros and don't excess your money doing it yourself. If it just smells close to that recently, I'd say-so try it yourself then. Good luck!
