I sprayed ant spray repellent in my bedroom along the hardwood floor baseboards before i go on vacation. it's been 2 1/2 weeks and I can still smell the spray. i own sensitivity to chemicals and shouldn't have sprayed it anyway but how do i get the smell past its sell-by date of the floors?
Answers: You need to open the window and allow the house to air out. While it is airing out, you can use a spray bottle filled beside 1 part white vinegar and three parts water. Spray as you mop to avoid over wet. It leaves the floors very clean and as soon as it dries, the smell go away.
Get Sp. & Span . Make a strong solution and wipe everything down with it.
Burn those scented candles.
