I got this really nice suede jacket for chirstmas and i get rides from my brother to school...and he smokes..and if its really cold out...we keep the windows rolled up...i stopped riding with him but the smell is still there so whenever i open up my locker...this wif of cigarette smell comes out of it..i can't do a process that takes a while cuz its winter and i have to wear it...its suede on the outside and has faux, soft fur on the inside..i have tried febreeze but its not working...it only makes it worse....and i can't take it to the cleaners because there is no one around here that isn't an hour away...and i can't put it in the wash because its suede...please help me get rid of it!!!!

Answers: You'll have to use either activated charcoal or baking soda to absorb the odor. I buy a lot of vintage clothing that smells and I put the garment in a box with a lid with a container of either baking soda or activated charcoal. You have to check the box every couple of days to see whether when you open it the smell is still there, but it eventually absorbs the odor.
