I have a VERY old carry and Knitted blanket, and I want to wash them. I'm nervous almost washing them because they are so old, and I dont want anything to surface such as shrink. Is there a more gentle path to wash them OTHER than just throwing them within the washer??
P.s
Would they be ok together in the wash??
(both white)
Answers: I would bath them by hand, in cool dampen with just a couple of drops of Woolite. Then squeeze them fussily to remove water, and lay them on a thick towel to nouns dry--turning every couple of hours and changing the towel if needed.
You fill the sink up beside warm water and use placid detergent using your hands.
