I have microfibre couches, and I've notice lately they're starting to absorb some smells. I've have them for a little over a year, and from my dog sleeping on them, a 7 month ripened eating on them and a moment ago from general cooking smells they brand of stink. I've used something called 'Get the odor out' that I bought at Walmart and while it be great for getting the dog smells out of the carpet and floors, but when it come to the couch, it made them smell like bleach or something and didn't work. I've tried shampooing beside upolhstry cleaner but it just made them stiff...any suggestions?
Answers:    Sprinkle it beside baking soda, leave on for as long as you can and vaccuum sour. Baking soda absorbs smells. Vinegar and river lightly sprayed will give a hand also but don't put the baking soda on a wet sofa!
Febreze!
