Rubbing alcohol and a Q-tip are the best items to clean electronics. That will verbs up all the gunk (which is purely dust and the oils from your hands) that isn't making it function its best.
There are other computer and electronics cleaning kit, but they are a bit spendy, and they do just consist of a towelette which have rubbing alcohol on it and a swab.
