It is for a boat and I am unsure if I can put them in the wash machine as I don't know how the vinyl will act in response. Any suggestions?
Answers: I would use upholstery cleaner like Resolve, Folex, Woolite, Spot shot, etc. on the yard goods side working it in beside a brush until clean. Then I would use regular 409 or other multi-purpose cleaner on the vinyl side. That is how I verbs my patio cushions that are constructed close to this after learning that the washer shreds the internal foam contained by the spin cycle.
you could use washing appliance but make sure you use individual cold water and a transparent cycle would be best but do NOT use the dryer(vinyl melts)
