I machine rinse and dry them since when I take them to the dry cleaner, the collar sweat ring become somewhat permanent, even though it's feint. Also a follow-up request for information: Would buying harder inserts (stays) help, and should stays within general be kept surrounded by the collar when laundering?
Answers: Yes the stays are the style to go, but i would pinch them out when laundering and after put them back surrounded by when hanging up.
I cart the dress shirts out of the dryer while the collars are still a bit damp and after insert the stays.
