How can I join inched to the waist strip of my jeans? my jeans are too small in the waist and I can't...

my jeans are too small in the waist and I can't purloin them back to the store what can I do to extend the waist? anything. Can i cut them or donate material any design?

Answers:    When I was pregnant I put a rubber tie thru the hole of my jeans and looped it around the button. This extended the life of my jeans pretty much till distribution with most of my kids! LOL

If you own a sewing machine you can do it! you hold to take apart the waist from the body on your pant by cutting the sawing from one side to the other. Than cut the sawing on the spinal column side and cut the sawing on the back side of the body too. Then cut out a triangle of any things what you think is a maching color of your pant. This tiangle should be that long how abundant inches you need to put together the waist bigger. Lets say 2" Than you cut out a 2.5" (every side )triangle. The partly inch for the sawing. Than you saw the too sids to the body of the pant and saw it to the waist. And saw back the waist to the body.
