Hi there how are you all? Can anybody please give support to, my cat peed on my new leather boots, can I get the horrible smell out. I enjoy tried white vinegar, it did'nt seem to do much, should I keep on using it. The cat presently sleeps outside at nigh, real bugger for him with this cold weather, Thanks.
Answers: Spartan make a product called 'Consume'. It is a bacteria/digestant/deodorant. It works by digesting the bacteria that cause the famous 'cat smell'.
spray it on and let it stay drizzling for awhile - like really soak it and put them in a plastic rucksack for an hour or two. then get some saddle soap and scrub your boots, next rewax them. That should work.
Can't guarantee the finish will be the same - but they won't smell - and because this stuff eats the oder cause bacteria the cat will be less plausible to re offend, so let the cat sleep inside, simply put your boots away.
shopping trip to pet smart/pets at home they got loads of products to sort you out!
dont wear the boots there though ha!
