I bought a second hand leather sofa, the color is white, but during the time the sitting room part have changed the color maybe because of dust and usage.
Which is the better solution to verbs it and restore the original color in need damaging the leather?
If you can suggest me solutions and product entitle that will be great.
Answers: I used to work (16 years) in the high-end furniture biz and interior design.
We other used Guardsman products to clean leather (as okay as Guardsman products for wood furn.)...which used to be available only within fine furniture stores...but you can now buy it within places like Lowes Home Improvement, Home Depot...
I hold always be extremely pleased with ALL the products they manufacture...their leather cleaner is the only entity I have ever used on my two (very expensive) leather chairs...the chairs are going on 10 years dated, and look as good as the daytime I bought them...
Detergents (other than Ivory Soap) can be very unsafe and drying to leather...
If the leather is what is known as an "unprotected" leather (will have a feeling kind of resembling suede...) which means at hand are NO treatments on the leather...it's in vitally it's "raw" form (sometimes it will also look like an infirm "bomber jacket")...
You can't use ANYTHING on it without ruining it...
BE CAREFUL to not use anything to be exact oily or drying to the leather...
Inbetween, vacuuming is adjectives leather really needs to stay verbs..
just walk to the auto parts store and get some leather shampoo, it will generate it nice and clean
