I have the fun assignment of needing to replace my washer and dryer and am looking for recommendation for a good front loading washer and dryer set (electric, not gas).
Has anyone hear of the Maytag Epic Z? If so, do you own either the washer, dryer, or both and do you close to it? I've heard of the Maytag Epic and it have good ratings within Consumer Reports, but haven't heard anything nearly the Z model.
Looking for, preferrably, stackable washer and dryer, heard worthy things about the LG Tromm, Kenmore Elite, Maytag Epic (not sure if the Epic is stackable?) and others but looking for reviews from those of you who in actual fact use any of the above, or others.
We need a latest washer & dryer for two people, we mop up clothes, towels and sheets basically, sometimes a comforter or a dog bed.
Thanks surrounded by advance for your back!

Here is the Consumer Reports May 2007 run-down:
Frigidaire, GE, Kenmore and Whrlpool for front-loaders are the most reliable
Amana, Fisher & Paykel & Kitchenaid for the most repair prone top loaders
No one brand stood out as being more reliable for electic and gas dryers, but the most repair prone for both are Amana & Kitchenaid
I don't own a front-loading set, but I do own a top-loading set.
Maytag and Whirlpool are my brands of choice. Many people hold different laundry needs. People next to small children need models that verbs effectively and can handle considerable loads.
Whatever model you choose, ask if they are flexible and offer a trial time of year. Many washing machines don't fare capably with different sea. If your city or well have large amounts of sediment, you may not resembling the results.
The last time I purchased a set, I asked to try the set out for a month or two, and be given the option to exchange if I didn't resembling that model.
Answers: we have the hot tub duet.. frontloading but not stackable as far as i know... but we absolutely love it! it can button huge loads of laundry as well as big comforters.. it automatically adjust the amount of water used to the size of your nouns - really helps the environment as very well as your water/electric bills!
