I put an area rug surrounded by it and think it be too big for the dryer. It smells like its burning and the inside wont turn. Can I fix this in the past my husband gets home? Whats wrong near it.

Answers:    Sounds like you any burned out the motor, or the belt from the motor to the drum slipped off due to the bulk. The belt's not a big deal - it purely has to be put rear on. If the motor is dead, next it will have to be replaced. If you do ANYTHING beside your dryer, BE SURE TO UNPLUG IT FROM THE WALL FIRST!!!
