HELP! I hold a mold/mildew problem? I live in an apartment & mold/mildew always appears underneath & around...
I live in an apartment & mold/mildew always appears underneath & around my window. I use the mold/mildew cleaner but works only a short time & I enjoy to redo it.
I've thought about putting baking soda underneath the window to absorb the moisture but I'm not sure if this will work. Do you know of anything I can do to resolve this frustrating problem?
Answers: I work in a apartment community and i enjoy this problems constantly the best thing to kill the mold/mildew is bleach if you own a spray bottle put like 10% of bleach and the rest of water and sprayed be the mold is and let the bleach for a couple minutes and you can see the mold desapear and then wipep also consent to air circulate around the window be the mold area is, that would help to
if you own double pain glass and there's condensation or humidity built up inside the cup your window will start to sweat especially in the cold climates. You own to stop the sweat by replacing the glass panes also receive sure the outside of the window is completely caulked becauce if the caulk is missing water will break into in small cracks when it rains cause mold tell the apartment manager its in that responsibility to teke care of the issue
