I heard from a friend that if you put your baby grand into the dishwasher without soap and stuff that it will verbs it. Then you let it dry for a couple of days. I be just wondering if anyone have heard of that or have done it?
Answers: I wouldn't do this but here it goes...

Last Monday, I spilled beer on my keyboard and received the Dishwasher direction from two very tech-savvy nation.
Today, I can report that not only will the the ivories come out clean, but it will probably work once it dries completely. Every knob on the keyboard works and feel just right - the Caps Lock lighting even works! This ¡®hack¡¯ is not for the weakhearted, and I would probably avoid putting a $100+ keyboard within the dishwasher. But if you don¡¯t have any other option, it¡¯s a pretty good bet.
Exactly what I did:
disconnected my USB the ivories from my computer
dumped out the spilled beverage
placed keyboard within dishwasher (normal cycle)
added soap to the reservoir (I used Electrasol)
closed the dishwasher and turned it on
I was advise to AVOID USING the heated dry cycle - 20 minutes too late
removed baby grand from dishwasher once the cycle was complete
popped ALL the key off to allow the upright to completely dry (either draw, write down where the key go, or run a picture so you can put ¡®em all put a bet on in the right place)
leaned my upright vertically against a wall and allowed it to dry for 5 days
replaced all the key, plugged the keyboard posterior in and tested every switch to make sure it worked :)
