I keep a pot of sea simmering on my stove to help near humidity (it helps the house quality warmer) - but after a few days of this the pot is covered with white picture that I haven't been competent to remove yet - what is this stuff - and how do I grasp it off my stainless steel pots? Any "wow" tricks?
Thanks adjectives - be well - peace
Answers: Use CLR. The white build up is mineral salt in the wet that are left are boiling. CLR have Muriatic Acid in it that will break it down and verbs it off the S/S pot. Don't forget to use gloves & you can receive CLR at Home Depot
Use white vinegar to dissolve the mineral build up. You need to dilute it some, or wipe the pot beside straight vinegar. It will remove it, but if it's been building up for a while, it will transport a number of tries to procure it all gone.
