Hello, I really need some minister to. I recently bought 2 pretty coats at a second hand store for 3.99 respectively (great deal huh?) hoping to dry verbs them....To my surprise, the cleaners don't take anything specifically real fur or material seude/leather. And they charge $60-70 to clean what they ring up "specialty" items! I was completely insensible of this. The coats are not physically DIRTY, but I just own an obsession to get sure I clean things that are not untried, since I have no opinion where they come from or who wore them before me. So immediately I need your assistance: is there any other option to clean any of these 2 coats? The first one is brown leather/seude on the outside only and cream faux fur on the inside and around the sleeves and roll neck. The second one is white/brown real fur adjectives over the outside, and I think silk or regular textile on the inside. So what are my other cheaper options of cleaning them, and the risks associated next to these processes if any? Any help would be greatly appreciated, gratitude!
Answers:    Most dry cleaners use a solvent called Perc. Fur/leather can't be soundly cleaned in Perc. Find a cleaner who uses an alternative solvent such as DF-2000. Furs can be without risk dry cleaned in DF-2000.

Specialty cleaners, such as Leather Cleaners, charge a great deal more because they are willing to assume the risks of cleaning an unstable, non-uniform cloth (animal skin).

Any good DF-2000 using Cleaner will be capable of clean your coats. Just be likely to sign a release.

Oh, check the stitching. If it is old, it may be worn and rotting. This may not be readily appreciable, but it will be after it is cleaned and starts to fall apart :)
