I have just spent my intact day doing the BIGGEST pile of laundry you have ever see (LOL) and while I was folding up the clean stuff I have to fold 2 fitted bedsheets (you know the ones with the elasticated edges) When I folded them they looked all untidy and I'd love to enjoy neat folded fitted bedsheets, does anyone know how to fold them so they look neat?
Also, any other cool folding tips and technique are welcome - I like erudition new things.
One more thing... anyone know how to bring an old black biro ink stain out of a light-medium grey jog bottoms? Cos I'm this close to purely bleaching it and hoping for the best lol! Thanks everyone! x
Ah, the dreaded fitted sheet! Lol.
I tried a bunch of tricks until I found a method that worked for me (and my available linen closet space.) I have to agree with the other posters, Martha Stewart have a good explanation for folding fitted sheets -- as well as tips for towels, clothes, etc.

If that doesn't work, I say aloud take the "mom" poster up on her offer. :)
Martha Stewart has excellent folding tips.
I fold the fitted sheet within half lengthwise and tuck both corners on one side into their opposite corners, next fold the fitted sheet in half two more times to form a square.
I fold the top sheet contained by half lengthwise, then contained by half again. Lay the fitted "square" on one end of the top sheet.
Fold the pillow case(s) into a rectangle and lay resting on the fitted sheet.
Finally, flip the other end of the top sheet over the pillow case(s) and fitted sheet to form a sheet set. This works great when you have controlled linen closet space.
Also, regarding your ink stain, I use with nouns Carbona Stain Devils Ink & Crayon purchased at Kroger or Randalls.
Answers: If the sheets have the elastic adjectives around... then I put the corners together and the fold
If only two sides are pliable then I fold the straight sides in partly then in partly again then I fold the straight folds over the side that has the pliant then fold again then within three.
You hair spray to get ink out of clothes...
spray the ink drizzling with hair spray afterwards rub a white bar soap on top spray wet again beside hairspray and rub with bar soap again spray raining again and wash in cold sea with like colors. If that doesn't bring all the ink out then do the hairspray and pole soap again. The hair spray and bar soap WILL work to catch the ink out! It just depends on how much ink is there and how long it's be there.
Enjoy ink free clothes!
If you lived near where on earth I work (Darcies) You could dropp it off for me to do for you...I also give family folding lessions...they ask...I teach...
Don't bleach! Try tresses spray, then rub gently. I have an ink stain question not long ago, and that was the answer that worked for me! I have ball point pen on my fave pink cotton t-top, spayed it wet near hair spray, rubbed it in kindly and popped it in the washer. Ink all come out and the hair spray didn't leave a sitting duck, either.
Good luck On Martha Stewarts TV show she showed how to fold a fitted sheet. It is easier if you lay in on the bed, fold contained by half, smooth and tuck in the rounded corners and smooth again so they are flat and keep hold of folding until it works.
