Recently, there's been a FISH odor coming from the metal panel on the wall contained by my closet. I thought it was dirty laundry, but I did adjectives the laundry this past weekend.
The panel is resembling a door to an open space between this room and the subsequent dorm room, like the space where on earth it's possible to crawl in and fix pipes, etc.
The smell come from in near.
Could a dead animal smell close to fish?
Could mold smell like fish?
What within the hell smells like fish besides a dirty human? I seriously enjoy OCDish cleaning tendencies and am the munificent of person who sprays Lysol on the toilet everyday. (Four ancestors use our toilet.)

Answers: Mold can have adjectives types of different smells depending on what type of mold it is. NEVER! try to inspect what it may be without using a pall since you do not know what it may be and if it is mold and it's toxic mold or some-sort of chemical or leaking pipe your putting yourself at risk for intensely serious health affects if you do not use the proper sanctuary measures like a cloak when inspecting and cleaning it. You need to consult your tenant or a a professional handyman to come and inspect the problem just to craft sure nothing serious is growing,dying or pipe is broken within there.
I've never specified mold to smell like that. It's possible you hold a dead animal (like a mouse) contained by the walls. Have you removed the panel to see what's in within?
If you rent, tell your innkeeper about the smell and that you believe it may be a unresponsive animal and ask him to remove it.
If you own the place, you are on your own. Open the panel and see if you can see anything or hire a pest removal company. Be ready beside tons of lysol and febreeze and open window because it will smell worse when the panel is open.
