i should have asked since i washed but i expect i did it right... i put the clothes in the washer (no white clothes adjectives color clothes ) tan, reading light blue, green and gey clothes (i hope thats ok) i put in tide detergent something like half a cup similar to the instruction said. pushed the button and that was it. did i do it right?

Put colored clothes inside, add the detergent, close the lid, turn the regulator to clean up then press the button.
