Does wash jeans really fade the color? I read a label on a couple of jeans I bought...

I read a label on a couple of jeans I bought about how wash them often fade the color. They (the label) told me to wash the jeans inside out. Is this really essential? Or, is it like that myth to really put THAT much detergent surrounded by the laundry?
Answers:    It doesn't take that much detergent, and it's not a myth.

If you don't want them to fade out, mop up the inside out. It keeps the dye sides together to sustain prevent fading.

If you want them to fade for a moment each time, after wash similar to you would regularly.

If you really want them to fade, put a little gooey bleach in the mop up.

It depends a lot on how they be dyed. I've got a double act of jet black Lucky's that I've have for nearly 2 years. I think they be "over-dyed" -- that is, dyed AFTER they be made into jeans. I wear them at least once a week and wipe up them that often -- and I swear they haven't lost a bit of their blackness. I don't put any characteristics of bleach in the appliance (and this includes color safe bleach) and I use regular laundry detergent (Tide).
If you buy acid-washed jeans, they're SUPPOSED to fade.Washing them inside out keep other clothes from rubbing on the outer side of the fabric and that keep the color longer, too.
