Just curious if it really works..it almost seems to small to be capable of pick up anything of substance. I have sturdy wood floors and carpet, which are other showing little dust bunnies or hair from my 2 dogs. I don't similar to to vacuum that often (maybe bi-weekly) so would a roomba be a polite investment so I could just agree to it clean for me when I don't want to?
Answers: I asked for a Roomba for Christmas ultimate year and have be using it for 10 months. I absolutely love it! I know it sounds silly but it have changed our household life! I run it every daytime in the morning and it picks up so much dust and ruins it is amazing. I have wood floors and runner as well. I typically run it on a daily basis on the wood floor and only going on for twice weekly in the carpeted areas. It picks up dropped Cocoa Puffs of late fine along with adjectives other types of crumbs and leaves. My son plays football on a turf field which have tiny little black pieces of rubber in the turf. These trickle out of his cleats in the laundry room and the Roomba picks those up as okay. I clean out the picnic basket and shake out the brushes after each cleaning which I regard helps it pick up better. I purchased one for my mom and mother contained by law for Mother's afternoon and told them "life is too short to verbs your own floors" so as not to offend! They both love their Roombas and my mother within law have named hers! I wouldn't run it at bedtime as it is loud, not like a vacuum cleaner but close to a little domestic device running throughout the house. Mine is running right now.
Can I get hold of back to you on this? I lately bought one, so far it's doing ok. I've still got to swot up how to use it, the instructions are somewhat sketchy.
