Answers: I hold been using my Roomba 550 for a few days presently and I am in love. I own a mix of concrete, area rugs and mat for floors and two high-hair-producing in-house pets and this little machine have been doing a wonderful undertaking cleaning. It is quieter than I expected, recharges like lightning and really cleans the floor. Understand though that it is not a complete substitute for vacuming it is really a complement to your vacume. The Roomba goes places that you probable do not with your vacume, such as below a bed or sofa and makes frequent vacuming terrifically easy, however you will still requirement to vacume your furniture and places the Roomba may have trouble next to, and occasionally deep vacume your mat. Trouble areas will vary base on your own floors and furniture, but for me it is the edge between mat and wood or concrete. And another benefit is that it is very entertaining to see how my cat and dog act in response to the Roomba.
it does a fair livelihood, but they are neat to study. for pet hair I would bring back a Dyson
