i have a shirt beside drawings in sharpie and i dont want the sharpie to bring on other clothes... will it?
Answers: The sharpie will stay put if you heat set it first. So if you throw that shirt within the dryer on high roast, or iron it, before wash the first time the color will set. Red ink is the hardest to get to stay put. You may want to bake set the color, then dust the shirt alone for the first time just to be sure, but later after that you should be fine.
I have never have sharpie ink fade onto other clothes. However, RED sharpie might be a problem; red in broad tends to bleed more when first wash. Sharpie ink has faded surrounded by my wash; not sure why. Turning printed clothing inside out for wash slows fading. Washing on cold will also prevent color migration.
