I have resembling one of those cotton-sweaters that are super thin (tight fitting) and hold patterns of close to mini mini horizontal and verticals stripped of like knit cotton.
(I don't kno the fancy name result in i'm not a fashion character :))
So, its kinda like loose from adjectives the washing and drying (they're dried surrounded by the yard limp on a clotheline, not in a dryer)
So i wanna shrink it, if i put it contained by boiling water will it burn the sweater (cotton) and ruin it? Also, if i do this, and consequently i just dry it within a cool place (its winter!) will it go put money on to its original size?
overall, should i do it?
Answers: Don't put your sweater contained by boiling water. It will more than probable weaken the fibers and it wont final much longer and also drain the color out of it ;) You really should wash it surrounded by hot water and put it into a DRYER. The dryer roast is what is going to make it tighter.... right luck.
