The 'self cleaning' filter on my model will quit spinning and does not clean its 'self'. It worked wonderfully when I first get it 6 months ago but now the stupid filter is making it so it is not picking up near the hose. I have to keep hold of manually cleaning the 'self cleaning' filter. Piece of junk.

Answers:    My Hoover simply quit working...we had it for approximately six months as ably. The hose quit working and it never picked up anything. I bought a vacuum with lots instead of a wind tunnel or bagless. I honestly believe the bagless do not own enough suction or lose suction after awhile.
