We put mothballs in my room cause I hold a lot of rugs they could eat. And the mothballs are not work What else could I do to capture rid of the moths? All input welcome
Answers: Mothballs rarely work.
After cleaning up and vacuuming thoroughly try cedar chips, peppermint grease, peppercorns, lavender, or Diatomaceous Earth (DE) available from several sources easily googled.
Try sprinkling the DE in adjectives corners and on the rugs. It will slice apart the larvae but is safe for you and any pets you might enjoy.
Also try storing extra clothing you have in hermetic bags such as winter clothing, wools, cottons, etc. If you think you may own rat nests in the basement or attic, filch a look around and make sure you get rid of them, they can breed at hand.
Hope this helps.
