I'm having some problems closing the cover for the dish detergent contained by my dishwasher. The model is a Nautilus by GE, I'm not sure what the precise model number is. The rinse compartment is fine from what I've seen, but I can't seem to be to get the cover to stay closed for the dish detergent. Next to it, there's something that say "twist handle" to close the cover, but I can't verbs the handle. It's particularly rigid and I'm afraid of breaking it. Suggestions? Answers: Forget the dispenser. Just put the detergent surrounded by the dishwasher and run it. The detergent dispenser door is one of the first things to open when it is surrounded by automatic and working properly, and the door stays open throughout the cycle.
probably have a soap scum build up, try soaking the dispenser near hot water, and vinegar,
