Dark Towels Are Stiff After Washing? I know this sounds weird. But after wash and drying my DARK...

I know this sounds weird. But after wash and drying my DARK towels, they are stiff and feel scratchy. However, my white towles are drastically soft and fluffy. I use fabric softner within each. I enjoy even tried different kinds of softner and zilch is working. I have concrete water and use saline with the hose down softner.
Any advice? Anyone else own this problem?
Any obedient philosophy for dusting? I use...
Answers:    You might have textile softner build-up. Try a cup of Borax in your subsequent wash.
Is clorox bleach non chlorine?
