Have you ever washed your clothes surrounded by the washer without soap? Just relying on the marine and swishing action of the washer? I am considering it because I can't stand the smell of the detergent I hold and can't get to the store until tomorrow.

Answers:    You can do so, but you may want to consider count a cup full of either white vinegar, or a partially cup of baking soda. Either of those will freshen the clothes nicely.

Do not expect to obtain any oil base stains out though, you need actual detergent for that.

Don't use dish soap, or shampoo or anything specifically not made for the washing apparatus, it is not much fun to have a washer oversuds and you will enjoy soap suds and water everywhere.

Not a apposite way to verbs the floor. There are some scent free and fragrance free detergents on the market, so that you will not be bothered by the smell again.
