Hello, I have a latest glasstop stove..My hubby accidently set a pan on a potholder and the potholder melt onto the pot causing the glasstop burner to acquire some residue on it..We use the special cleaner but have no scrapper nonetheless.. what will get the melt potholder residue off without risk? Answers:    Try using a teflon pot scrubbie with baking powder. You can put some hose down on the glass top and after put the baking soda on, let it set for a few minutes consequently scrub it with the scrubbie. You might enjoy to put a little more baking soda on it and scrub some more. Good Luck. ( use this adjectives of the time on just around everything) It cleans baked on gunk on the outsides of pots and pans too. It will also manufacture your stainless steel or aluminum sink shine when you when you clean it beside it too.
