Had a hockey team surrounded by the hotel last dark. All went economically, except for the one person who settled to ride their bike inside, and leave skid grades. 16 altogether. 4 on carpeting and 12 downstairs on our stone flooring.

Our maintanance guy says that the steam cleaner w/ chemicals won't steal out the carpet results. I tried scratching the other ones next to my nail, but that didn't work.

Help??

Answers:    use wd-40.... on the carpet and the floor... later wash beside a degreaser (dawn dishwashing liquid, etc.) Won't hurt the hearth rug
