Carpet is loaded beside fleas and are biting my legs up bleak. How do I take rid of them. smoke bomb not a leeway?
There are loads of alternatives in this article...everything from bake traps to granules:
http://www.bugspray.com/article/fleas.ht... spary it with robbery then take the mat out you need to get a alien one
1. straight treat your pets for fleas per your vet (I like Frontline)
2. wash anything that can be wash in hot water and dry on glorious heat (including pillows, blankets, clothes, curtains, etc)
3. anything that cant be washed should be hermetically sealed in a garbage backpack for as long as possible (you can also freeze items if you have room in your freezer or enjoy them dry cleaned)
4. large bulky items such as mattresses or couches should be sprayed throughly with a flea removal spray (read sticky label carefully, some are not meant for surfaces that are to be slept on), mattresses should also be flipped
5. treat runner with a flea powder and vacuum, remove vacuum bag, trademark in a garbage backpack and take outside to your trash can immediately
- do not forget to vacuum corners, along baseboards and vent as fleas can hide out there
(repeat as frequent times as necessary until fleas are gone - maybe even multiple times per morning - fleas reproduce quickly)
6. if all of this isn't working, speak to your vet and consider boarding pets while an exterminator comes to your house to take over, sometimes it's merely too bad of a case to switch yourself
Depending on your carpet type, you can use a tenancy mix of bleach and water (test them before using within an unseen area of the carpet). Mix it up and put it in a spray bottle. Spray the runner until the carpet is damp. Repeat every few hours for a few days.
You can also try this near other house hold cleaners, using a spray bottle.
This won't be fun on your feet for a while, but a carpet undamaging method (and pet safe) is to use the spray bottle to spray a salt solution (LOTS of salt) the same means of access. The salt will cause abrasion on their exoskeletons, and dry them out.
Hope these help!
Oh! A steam cleaner might also work, you can rent them at some grocery stores around here.
Nothing is quite as annoying or mortifying as fleas jumping up out of your carpet to bite at your ankles. In tally to the inconvenience of fleas taking up residence in your home, getting rid of them is difficult. Chemical fogs or sprays made to kills fleas are unsafe to humans and adjectives pets. Rid your carpet of fleas naturally in need risking your health.
Things You¡¯ll Need:
Diatomaceous earth
Dish detergent
Salt
Step1
Treat your dog or cat at equal time that you treat your carpet. Many pet owners have rid pets from fleas by bathing them within Dawn dish detergent.
Step2
Vacuum thoroughly and often as fleas in a mixture of stages of development probably live in your runner. Either dispose of your vacuum bag in a secured plastic trash sack or add borax or diatomaceous earth (DE) to your vacuum sack to kill fleas.
Step3
Sprinkle your carpet beside salt, which should kill fleas and eggs. Wait 24 hours and afterwards vacuum up.
Step4
Rid your carpet of fleas in every inch of your hearth rug, including under and behind furniture.
Step5
Dust DE directly on runner for stubborn pests. While DE is generally safe for humans, you still might want to wear eye protection and a dust shroud so that you don't breathe in the dust.

Steam clean your mat with a borax and water mixture contained by a carpet cleaner. The water drowns fully fledged fleas and the borax attaches to the carpet to stop new fleas from maturing. This can be an impressive treatment for up to a year.

Tips :
Other possible treatments for dogs include adding brewer's yeast to their food, which releases an odor that causes fleas to progress elsewhere. You can also use a flea comb to remove fleas from Fido and then drown the suckers by dipping the comb in a cup of soapy river.
Consider putting pets on a long-term flea control treatment like Program or Frontline so that your pets don't reinfest your carpets beside fleas.
If you believe that fleas have infested your yard, try spreading DE surrounded by flea hot spots or pet bedding.
Many veterinarians recommend against using flea collars, which can make pets sick.
Answers: OMG, I own a carpet business & I went through this a couple of yrs ago.
The problem next to fleas is they multiply so fast. They feed sour of bloos deposits in the carpet & can lay dormant for mo's.
They are attracted by tremor. I tried everything, bombs, home depot spray. I finally went to an exterminator & got this stuff call Conquer. You put it in a spray bottle & spray the entire floor, bed & furniture.
Well worth the investment. Trust me I lived in agony for mo's.
I have an assured, cheap and green way to rid yourself of fleas. First of all, return with some salt, good, hoary, cheap salt. Vacuum your carpets really, really resourcefully. When done, dispose of the vacuum bag or empty it outside. Then lift the salt and simply sprinkle it on all your carpet, don't be stingy, let it fly all over the carpet. Let it sit for a day or two or three, as long as you can stand it. The fleas will be eating the saline and have no way to bring rid of it and die! It takes about 24-72 hours for this to appear, depending on how strong your fleas are and how many eggs there may also be. You can repeat it too, if you make out them biting you again, vacuum again, and drop a new load down again. I academic this from a friend of mine many many years ago, who run apartment buildings for a living, and learned how to get rid of fleas cheap and trouble-free like in Florida. I enjoy used it over the years and am amazed how much money people will spend and gas themselves stupid trying to get rid of them instead of doing this. Works speedy enough for me, I mean its NOT INSTANT similar to a fogger might be, but its worth it to me. Try it! You'll like it! Hope this helps you! Good luck! ~~Go to a restaraunt supply (like Smart N Final) and buy some boxes of popcorn brackish. Sprinkle your carpet thoroughly and if you want beat it insightful into the carpet with a stiff broom. It dehydrates them and they die sour quickly . Leave in for 2 weeks, vacuum , later apply again, leave another 2 weeks and you will have gotten rid of them and any eggs that hatch. Works similar to a charm and the salt is so fine you won't even know it's there!~~
Tried and proven! Some fleas rode in on jeans legs and shoes into my home last year. I frantically tried everything I could feel of, but being asthmatic, there be limitations to most commercial products.
I was told to put a bowl of water next to Dawn dishwashing liquid in the floor and set a small kerosene lamp near it during the night. I placed this surrounded by 3 separate locations. It worked like a charm!
By the time I realized I have an infestation, it had gotten pretty severe, so it took a little over a week to win it completely under control. I vacuumed carpet and furniture day after day during this time, and the fleas are no more!
I assure you, you won't be disappointed with the results : )
Borax soap powder rubbed into the carpet kill the fleas. Be sure to wash your dog directly, and make sure you haven't get a flea problem outside. If it's outside too, use Seven dust outdoors.
The same thing happend to us.
There's some sort of powder you hold to put down on the carpet for like a week or two, but you enjoy to brush it in good. Trust me, you'll want to buy the stick near the brush on the end.
