My wife's cat spilled soap on our coffee table when we were out of town. The stain have a chance to set, and I own tried toothpaste mixed with baking soda, and grease for wood. Will WD40 hurt my coffee table, remove the stain, or just cover it up? Does anybody out nearby have any better tips for cleaning this stain?

Answers:    i would not use WD to verbs anything as it is a penatrating type stuff and would strip the finish off and create the table oily
