Answers:    My parents have maytag washer and dryers. I have a maytag dishwasher and it works- ok. I don't reckon it really matters adjectives that much the brand. Every brand eventually runs into some problem as they age. If it's not 10 years old, I deem you'll be fine!

The old Maytag washers be workhorses that never broke. I bought a front loader when it came out (paid top dollar) and what a disaster. It molded really discouraging, out clothes always smelled resembling mildew and it didn't wash worth a darn. Horrible customer service. After two years I give it away and bought a Kenmore Elite. I love it! Best washer I've ever had-no problems either. I willl never purchase anything Maytag again. The washer/dryer sucked and I own a Maytag refrigerator that is falling apart. Their trait went within the toilet!
