I have tried shampooing the rugs but the stains are still detectable.
I have also scrub them but no success.
Nature's Miracle. It works really flawless. My 2 little dogs sometimes have accident. Before I use it though, I soak up the urine with one of those shammy's you use to dry your motor. It gets it up valid good. Petsmart and Petco both mart Nature's Miracle.

You can still use it on stains that are already there. It worked for me.
There's a wonderful product out call Nature's Miracle Stain & Odor Remover. It's worked like a charm for me!

Petsmart might pass it, but my bottle was ordered from Doctors Foster and Smith. They own a web site: www.DrsFosterSmith.com
Answers:    1. Right when the stain happen, set a paper towel and something sturdy on it
2.Once it's soaked up all it can (it take like 24-48 hrs),spray it beside a mixture of vinegar and water and put a different paper towel and something calorific on it leave that on for approaching 24 hours
I'm not sure if that works for older stains or not though, sorry
Shampooing and scrub aren't very powerful against pet stains. I have 9 cats, most of whom "stain" occasionally.

Other posters enjoy recommended "Nature's Miracle". I use "Unique" http://www.stainandodorsolution.com/inde... from Ace Hardware. I also use Bissell Pet Odor & Stain http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41... Although it's formulated to use in hearth rug steamers, it works fine on its own.

Any product that contains enzymes will help fall pet stains and odors. If the stain has be there a while, and if it's be scrubbed into the hearth rug, it may be difficult. Good luck!
