how can i shrink a bathrobe? i heard that wash really hot and then putting it within the dryer makes it lose shape and softness, is in that anyway that i can avoid that?

Answers:    It depends on what the fabric is-polyester won't shrink, 50-50 cotton/polyester might shrink some, and 100% cotton will shrink most. I would check the sign, then if its cotton or a cotton blend, hose in hot hose with detergent that have fabric softener contained by it. Then add more solution softener to the rinse water, and use softener sheets contained by the dryer too. Mega softening will help retain the shape. Good luck!

Is the robe polyester? Nothing will shrink that.

And wash anything in hot hose doesn't cause a problem, unless it's 100% cotton or wool.
