If you are, what is the weirdest thing that you've cleaned, and how often do you do it?
I don't consider myself a neat freak, but some of my friends laugh at me becuase I bleach/scrub my walls around 3x a month. But, I am a smoker, and I don't want my house to smell like smoke (which it doesn't) or the walls to have pallid stains around all my pictures (which they don't). However, I have to recognize that I must be at least a little nutty going on for stuff, becuase my 7 yr old has taken to keeping a mini-sized item of germex hand sanitizer in the bucket next to his outside toys lol Yes, and I always have be. When I was young I wouldn't permit anyone clean my room. They didn't do a good plenty job. My children used to laugh at me when I wash the chess pieces on the chess board. I would put water and soap in a bowl and dispense each little guy a bath!! I'd go swimming them about 4 times a year.
im more of a mental neat freak, i longing i had more time and energy to preserve things clean and organized, i do really try and want to have things simple, organized and presentable, so I own that like 5 minute window if a friend call and says they want to stop by, it takes no longer than 5-10 mins to put a few books away, wipe rotten the coffee table and have things look nice.
just rugged with 2 dogs who like to make tracks hair all over the place so vacuuming every other afternoon is a must. :o)

I have a friend AND NO IT IS NOT ME who wipe off the covers of books from the library with any a damp washcloth or a Lysol wipe because other people enjoy touched them. And her son won't use bar soap because it might have another domestic member's germs on it. no but this is odd to most people
