My husband didn't check pockets when doing laundry, and a tiny canister of Vicks Baby Rub (like Mentholatum) went through the washer and dryer. Two pairs of his pant now hold blotches all over them. I've soaked the pant in OxyClean - no accurate. A friend suggested he put dish soap on them, but he just put it on nearby then without hesitation washed the pant again - should he have tolerate it sit a while? Or does anyone know of anything else that would take this out? Thanks!

Wow the only other suggestion is nickname a local dry cleaners and see if they have any philosophy. I would go ahead and try your friends suggestion using the dish soap. It may a moment ago take a few times of soaking the pant in oxyclean.

Answers:    The stain is grease based. If you own dried the pants, try taking them to a dry cleaners, dry cleaning help remove oil. Tell the dry cleaners what get on the pants and that you enjoy washed them. It MAY work.
