I bought a new range two years ago, beside a black ceramic cooktop. This has be the most labor-intensive appliance I have owned in 30+ years. I hatred it! Maybe if I'd taken one with the gray cooktop (of which there are too few, I might add), I would enjoy been better off. I enjoy a permanent fair-sized rough spot on one of the large burners - looks resembling it's imbedded in the ceramic, as it will not come sour, no matter what I do. Anybody else experience problems?
Answers: I clean homes professionally and I hold not seen one of these stoves without some concerned of problem. I don't think it matters what color it is. Even after I enjoy successfully gotten all the burnt crap sour there seems to be bubbles within the glass. I had other wanted one of these but I have changed my mind, they are even more of a hassle. Have you tried using a scrub cleanser like Comet and a Scotch Bright pad? I enjoy had the best outcome with these.
I hear too frequent cons about these , I understand your frustration! Honestly speaking ! I would never catch one . If you can replace it with something easier to maintain ,some of these things are made for kitchens that are once in a blue moon or never used , it's all cosmetic .
