I have a bad smell coming from the toilet, someone have been out and cleaned the drains and for awhile the smell went, capably it,s back and causing them little black flies adjectives over my house.I am in uk
The water in the toilet bowl blocks the gas and smell from entering the home. Is there water surrounded by the bowl?

Also check your roof vent for the plumbing pipes it may be blocked with a bird nest or leaves.

If both of those are ok, your smell is coming from elsewhere.
If that happen to me, I pour a considerable amount of bleach down each plug hole and loo in the house and the overflow holes within the sinks and baths too. Leave it to settle for about an hour and do not use your loos sinks and baths. Then, use a plunger on each sink whilst running 'very hot' hose down. If possible, you need to plunger your loos as well. You hold a partial drain blockage and it needs shifting. Also, never try to force food fat or veg peelings down your sink drains.

If this doesn't work, your drains involve 'rodding', you can buy drain rods from a good hardware retailer, or just achieve the Dynorod boys in, but they aren't cheap.

Much respect to you, I hope this helps you rather bit.
try putting jeyes fluid down your drains i use bleach. try drain-o too.

From the description you give I would right to be heard damp mold under the toilet or possible seep from the seal under toilet. If nouns pressure outside rises this could force sewer gasses out inside the house. You would not necessarily have a constant smell except when the wind or pressure change. Are you sure it is coming from the toilet itself? Odours should not get through the water trap. Could it possibly be the men within the house missing the toilet and wetting the floor?
Answers:    Good old fashioned remedy for sinks, toilets & drains is : -

Dissolve soda crystals within a bucket of boiling water, pour down plug holes, drains and flush down the toilet on a regular basis (once a fortnight)

Soda crystals can be purchased from supermarkets, Wilkinsons, Superdrug, Savers etc., at a small cost (much cheaper than Dynorod)

Good luck !
