Hello I'm wondering what sort of air freshener I should buy if I wan't to enjoy one that smells for a very long time?
Answers: Air freshners do not work adjectives they do is just shroud the odors for a short period and the scent however dissipates markedly quickly, might I suggest using a more innate alternative such as one cup of White Vinegar diluted with partly cup of water and afterwards put in a spray bottle you can consequently spray like a spray, this will freshen the room and remove the odors but be forewarned that vinegar may give notice a vinegar scent for a few minutes then dissipate and hand down the room refreshed and verbs smelling instead of scented beside chemicals and perfumes which can lead to respiratory problems in relatives and in animals

1 1/2 cups warm sea or manufacturers direction
4 cinnamon sticks broken into pieces
1 tsp. impression vanilla
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. ginger or 1 medium piece of crystallized ginger
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 1/2 tsp. vegetable grease (helps with binding the scent and rapid river absorption)
Mix together and enjoy. Your line and friends will be searching the cupboards to find the goodies you baked that made the house smell so devout.
Easy as Apple Pie
Simmer a sliced apple and a couple of cinnamon sticks in some wet on your stove. The whole house will smell resembling apple pie.
To quickly bring rid of odors (especially fish), simply heat some white vinegar on the stove (DON'T boil!), and after in the order of 30 minutes, remove it. The slight vinegar smell dissipates quickly and take any odors with it.
These Work Best!
I own gradually changed my cleaning products to products I bring in myself. I have really save a lot of money, and my house have never been cleaner. We also never own to worry around toxins. Here are the air fresheners that I enjoy found work best.
Mix 1/4 cup baking soda with hose down in a spray bottle. Shake ably and spray. The baking soda absorbs the odor. You can also add on a little scent if you want. (I use vanilla extract. It smells great and drives men windy for some reason)
Spray undiluted white vinegar in the atmosphere. The vinegar smell evaporates very efficiently taking odors with it.
Place a bowl of vinegar on the counter and tolerate it sit for a few hours.
Dampen a towel with vinegar and undulation it through the air
Fill a parmesan cheese shaker next to baking soda. (I like to spray it beside a little of my favorite cologne.) Sprinkle over carpet and let it sit as long as possible (Overnight is best). Vacuum. I also tag on table salt to the baking soda, but it is surplus to requirements. The salt absorb moisture and acts as an rough. It really makes the hearth rug look better than vacuuming without it.

Scented Rocks Revisited
Here's an easy recipe. Make a small amount of Plaster of Paris, but use juice potpourri instead of water. You can buy inexpensive candy molds at heaps stores. The "Smelly Jelly" Answer
I enjoy a recipe that my daughter gave me. They are inexpensive and fun to bring in. The name on the recipe be called Gel Air Freshener, but we changed the identify to "Smelly Jelly."
Smelly Jelly
2 cups Concentrated Potpourri Liquid
4 envelops Knox gelatin
1 tablespoon salt (to deter molding)
Heat 1 cup potpourri until almost boiling. Remove from fry. Add 4 envelopes Knox Gelatin and 1 tablespoon salt. Stir until dissolved. Add remaining 1 cup potpourri. Pour into verbs jars and allow to set. If surrounded by a hurry, lightly cover and refrigerate them to speed the process.
I supply food coloring if I don't like the color. This can be put within a vase, and as it starts to set, place artificial flowers contained by the vase. The flowers appear to be real because they own a smell.
