I am having my carpet cleaned and they had a coupon for a discounted price. but after on the side of the ad it say "$12 per room for pre-conditioning" Can I just bring back the discounted price of steam cleaning without doing the pre-conditioning?
Can i mop my floor next to laundry...

So yes your carpet really wishes it. However its also usually included in the price (at smallest by reputable carpet cleaners). This company is giving you a discount after recouping the discount by charging you for something they should be doing anyways. I suggest another carpet cleaning company.
